Begun in 1973, "A Visit with Mrs. G" is now Broadcast around the
world.
Each week, Mrs. G's vivid retelling of Bible stories enables thousands of listeners
-young and old alike- to feel themselves a part of the drama of the Bible.
Mrs. G has paid six visits to Israel to do research for her Bible stories,
three times as a guest of the government of Israel. She also visited Greece
and Rome for her radio series on the Book of Acts.
In all her stories she combines accuracy with modern appeal. She has made the
Bible come alive for many thousands of children and adults - at home, in church,
in school, in camp, in hospital, in all kinds of places.
Her faithfullness to the text of Scripture has won the praise of Bible scholars
and teachers. She tells all the stories of the Bible, the nice and the nasty
ones, because she believes that "all Scripture is inspired by god and is
profitable for teaching and for training in righteousness." She tells the
stories in the setting and the sequence of Scripture, showing the unfolding
drama of redemption.
While her stories are entertaining, they are also educational and full of spiritual
instruction.
Mrs. G's Bible stories have been translated into Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese,
Japanese, Korean, Tamil, Rumanian: in all, some twenty languages.
A Visit With Mrs. G is a vital Christian ministry, spreading the Good News
of the Bible in a way which captivates listeners and readers throughout the
world.
